Emergency Network Maintenance

Hello,
Please be aware that we will be performing emergency maintenance on our core router in our Las Vegas facility on May 19th 12:30 AM GMT -7 (around 5 hours from now).
We expect the maintenance to take around 5 - 15 minutes to complete.
This maintenance addresses ongoing issues we’ve had with our SFLOW probes hindering our ability to automatically mitigate DDOS attacks.
The Routing Engines have already been upgraded to the appropriate version of JunOS, we just need to trigger a RE failover. Due to the drastic version change (going from JunOS 14.x to JunOS 18.x) we can’t do a ‘non stop routing’ upgrade as our line card firmwares will then be out of sync. We’ll take this as a good time to upgrade our Routing Engine cards to ones that can also handle many millions of routes without falling over. This will come in handy given how quickly the global routing table is bloating up.
